Florida's Presidential Preference Primary Election was held on March 15, 2016. As reported by Google, with 100% of precincts reporting, the results were as follows:
As of March 27, 2016, Donald Trump leads the three remaining Republican candidates with 739 delegates, followed by Ted Cruz with 465, and John Kasich with 143. There are 944 delegates remaining to be allocated. In order to "lock up" the nomination prior to the beginning of the Republican Convention in Cleveland, Ohio on July 18, 2016, a candidate must have commitments from at least 1,237 delegates.*
