Please join the Polk County Republican Executive Committee (REC) for our inaugural Polk Patriot's Dinner, which will be held at the beautiful Lake Ashton Community Clubhouse in Lake Wales on the evening of Friday, May 19, 2017. This event gives us the opportunity to bestow our first "Patriot of the Year" award to Polk County's own Sheriff Grady Judd. Sheriff Judd is and always has been a true patriot: a tireless champion of justice; a firm believer in our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; and, as always, a consummate law enforcement professional.
Our guest speaker for the event will be Florida's Republican National Committeeman, Peter Feaman. He is an attorney and the owner and President of Peter M. Feaman, P.A. in Boynton Beach. Mr. Feaman earned his B.A. at Union College and his J.D. as the University of Miami. His political activities include serving as the Palm Beach County State Committeeman, the Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida Committeemen and Women’s Caucus, and the Republican Party of Florida's Executive Board. He was appointed by Governor Scott to the Florida District Court of Appeals Nominating Commission and was previously appointed by Governor Bush to the Palm Beach County Housing Authority and the 15th Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission. Mr. Feaman is a dynamic speaker and the author of "Wake Up, America!", a 2007 book that foretold of the global impacts of radical Islamic terrorism that we are now experiencing on a daily basis.
The evening will begin with a cash bar and mixer from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, followed by the dinner and program beginning at 7:00 pm. Individual tickets for the event, which can be purchased right here on our website, are $50 for REC members and $60 for non-members. Tickets for a full table with premium seating for 8 guests are also available for $500. Sponsorship and program advertising inquiries should be directed to our REC Chairman, J.C. Martin, by email at email@example.com.
