Representative Jon Albert represents District 48 in the Florida House of Representatives, covering portions of eastern Polk and Osceola counties. A Frostproof native and local business owner, he was first elected in 2024 and is endorsed for re-election by President Donald Trump.
Albert's legislative priorities include regulatory reduction for small businesses, workforce development, and protecting the citrus, cattle, and agricultural heritage of the Ridge corridor. He faces Democrat Alethea Pugh in the November 3 general election.
