Any Polk County voter may use any of the 10 sites, regardless of precinct.

You must vote at your assigned precinct, and you need a photo ID with your signature on it. If your photo ID has no signature, bring a second ID that does.

Vote-by-mail has changed. Vote-by-mail requests expire at the end of every even-numbered year. If you requested a mail ballot in 2024, that request has expired and you must submit a new one. Already holding a ballot? It must arrive by 7:00 PM on November 3 — a postmark is not enough.
Early voting sites across Polk County
Any registered Polk County voter may cast a ballot at any of these locations during early voting.
The Supervisor of Elections publishes the early voting sites for each election, and they can change from one to the next — so the current list lives with them rather than here. Any registered Polk County voter may use any of the sites during early voting, whatever precinct they are assigned to on Election Day.
Every early voting site is also a Secure Ballot Intake Station: during early voting hours you can hand in a voted mail ballot at any of them.
You can also drop a voted mail ballot at either election office:
- Election Headquarters — 250 S. Broadway Ave., Bartow, FL 33830
- Elections Operations Center — 70 Florida Citrus Blvd., Winter Haven, FL 33880
Both offices take voted mail ballots on weekdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM — not weekends. Once early voting ends they are the only place left to hand one in, because the intake stations operate on early voting days only. On Election Day itself a mail ballot must be at an election office by 7:00 PM; a postmark is not enough. Confirm with the Supervisor of Elections.
